This week we have given 108 servings to our clients at the Soup Kitchen. The Soup Kitchen takes place every night of the week and feeds those who are in need from many different walks of life. Although the COVID-19 pandemic has meant that we have had to change the way that we work, with our team of over 250 volunteers we have been able to carry on the way that we work with some adjustments to our service, usually we would hand out hot food and drinks however at this time we are having to offer food packages, although this isn’t the way that we would like to be offering our service over winter we feel that it is much more important to be able to continue to a reduced service rather than not offering the service at all.
